Orbital Space Museum – Graduate Studio Project (ASU, Second Year)

Developed during my second year at ASU, this conceptual study envisions an Orbital Space Museum on Pier 76 in New York City. The design explores adaptive reuse and climate-responsive architecture, transforming the pier into a dynamic, floating cultural space. Integrating innovative forms that interact with wind, light, and structure, the project creates an immersive experience celebrating the intersection of science, community, and environmental awareness. An innovative aspect of this project was the use of AI-assisted design tools to optimize the architectural process—exploring site-responsive forms, climate strategies, and visitor experiences that might have been overlooked using traditional methods. Through adaptive design, the museum harmonizes with its site while redefining how visitors engage with both the built and natural environments.
